Get 500 feet of US JETTING 1/2″ high-pressure jetting hose. This hose has 4000 PSI working pressure and options of either 10,000PSI or 16,000PSI burst pressure. When used correctly, this hose is a workhorse that stands up to the stress of the job. However, due to numerous field conditions encountered and operator negligence, it is impossible to predict the exact lifespan of high-pressure sewer jetting hose. At US Jetting, we understand the frustration of hose repair and the high costs of replacing it. That’s why we designed hose that could work better for your needs, so your business can run more smoothly too. All US Jetting hose is constructed with a thermoplastic inner core tube. The inner core tube is wrapped with a woven multi-layer textile mesh reinforcement to reduce core expansion, prevent rupture, and provide flexibility. The result is a hose that can work for longer without damage. A second, thinner layer of woven textile material is then installed for the outer thermoplastic coating to bond to. The two textile layers are not bonded together, which allows the high-pressure hose to expand and contract. This is ideal for high-pressure applications such as sewer jetting and culvert cleaning. Wire braid or mesh is not used to manufacture this high-pressure jetting hose (unlike high-pressure hydraulic hose) to reduce hose weight per foot. That means it is easier to handle when it needs to be removed and repaired. The more you can save your team time, the more efficient they’ll be. High-pressure jetting hose is a wear item that requires occasional hose repair and replacement. Most damage to high-pressure jetting hoses is a result of operators not using safety accessories that protect the hoses. Hose repair due to damage or hose punctures is costly, not only for the replacement of the high-pressure jetting hose but the loss of productivity and revenue. Several safety measures such as Tiger Tail Hose Guides or Leader Hoses are available to help the longevity of your high-pressure hose. Tiger Tails guard the high-pressure hose against the sharp edges of pipes and manholes, which cause ruptures. Leader hoses are different colored short hoses that alert the jetting operator that the nozzle is approaching the end of the pipe. It’s also a cheaper sacrificial hose that can be more readily replaced due to harder wear. US Jetting maintains a wide range of high-pressure jetting hoses in inventory for immediate same-day shipping. Inventory includes 1/2″, 5/8″, 3/4″ and 1″ hose diameters with lengths of 250′, 500′ & 600′ feet so that you can always get the specific hose that you need for your equipment and task. Not sure which could be best? The experts at US Jetting can help you decide what you need. All US Jetting High-Pressure Jetting Hose is designed and manufactured to provide long working life, maximum safety, and minimal need for hose repair. All US Jetting high-pressure jetting have a minimum burst rating of 2-1/2 time the rated working pressure of the hose. The standard US Jetting 1/2″ diameter high-pressure hose has a working pressure of 4,000 PSI with a minimum burst rating of 16,000 PSI.
FAQ’s
We base all of our sewer hose sizes off of inside diameter (ID). Check your current hose layline which should have your inside hose diameter listed on it. If it’s rubbed off, call in to US Jetting to ask for confirmation for what size hose would be on your type of unit.
Yes, we have the chart below as a general guide.
Size of Hose Working Pressure GPM
1” 2000 – 3000 PSI 50 GPM+
3/4” 2000 – 3000 PSI 30 – 40 GPM
5/8” 3000 – 4000 PSI 20 – 25 GPM
1/2″ 3000 – 6000 PSI 12 – 18 GPM
3/8” 3000 – 4000 PSI 10 – 12 GPM
1/4” 3000 – 4000 PSI 5 – 8 GPM
3/16” 3000 – 4000 PSI 5 – 8 GPM
On your VIN tag located on the tongue of your trailer (if you have a skid, it may be in various locations), the pressure and flow is indicated. Example: 4018-300 represents 4000 PSI at 18 GPM with a 300 Gallon Water Tank Capacity

Example: 3030-750 represents 3000 PSI at 30 GPM with 750 Gallon Water Tank Capacity

Yes, US Jetting high pressure units all come with by-pass systems to allow you to reduce the flow to use smaller hoses. This gives jet operators the option to reduce to down to any hose size. Our standard smaller hoses are 3/8”, ¼” mini hoses, or 3/16” micro hoses.

These are all rated for 4000PSI and are great additions for residential lines, grease traps, or light commercial work.

A high pressure jetting hose can last a week or years based on the care taken by the operator. Safety tools such as tiger tails, manhole rollers, and leader hoses are all extremely important for the longevity of the hose.

Yes, depending on how many reels you have. Your main hose will correspond with the pressure and flow of your machine, but you can also get dual reels and mini reels that can have varying sizes. All hoses should be marked with their inside diameter, but if that isn’t visible, reach out to your US Jetting representative for help recognizing your hose.

US Jetting offers a variety of high pressure sewer hose including our own US Jetting brand, plus Parker, Piranha, Dynaflex, and others.

Yes, US Jetting and Parker hoses can be mended with the same style ends with a swage machine, while Piranha hoses require different specs and therefore should be done at a hydraulic hose shop with Piranha specific fittings.
